Integrity – don’t leave home without it!
Pastoral proverbial wisdom for this week.
“Better the poor whose walk is blameless than a fool whose lips are perverse.” (Proverbs 19:1 – NIV)
Hi young people: to our God Personal integrity is better than riches. The man or woman who walks uprightly, though he or she is poor, is more of a success in the eyes of God and good people than a perverse fool, though he or she is materially rich. The wisdom of God and Solomon promotes holy living far over financial success of evil doers.
Do You Have “Class” integrity? Demetrius is well spoken of by everyone—and even by the truth itself. (3 John 12 – NIV)
When others speak well of you, you’ve got acceptance; but when the truth speaks well of you, you’ve got class! Demetrius had it. Do you? Before you answer, listen to Paul’s words to Timothy: “Set an example … in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity … give yourself wholly to them, so that everyone may see your progress” (1 Timothy 4:12-15 – NIV). That’s class! That is how you can develop godly Personal integrity for life.
My daily prayer confession:
Father God please fill my life with your supernatural Holy Spirit power to give me ability to live pure with integrity in all my dealings in Jesus name. Amém
